Paulina Villarreal Joins the Voice Faculty at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music

Paulina Villarreal has been appointed Assistant Professor of Voice at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, beginning August 2025.

The appointment brings Villarreal to one of the nation’s leading schools of music, where she will teach applied voice and contribute to the school’s distinguished Voice Department. Her work at Jacobs continues a career spanning university teaching, professional performance, voice pedagogy, and scholarship in Latin American and Iberian vocal repertoire.

In announcing the appointment, Jacobs School of Music Dean Abra Bush highlighted Villarreal’s work as a performer, educator, and advocate for Latin American and Iberian vocal music and its contribution to the breadth of the school’s Voice Department.
